You want to go to a local, independent agent. A smaller agent is more likely to be hungry for the business.

But depending on what type of business you have – the premiums might be quite high, relatively. Most of the time when you're not getting calls back, it's going to be because the agents think you are going to be wasting their time.

Have him go in person, to several agencies. He's much more likely to get a quote in person, than over the phone.

Use this site to find an independent agent in your area. An independent agent represents more than one company so they have a better chance of having a company that will be able to write the insurance he needs.

Research a company on AM Best a choose one with a high rating. Call the local agent and get it set up!
