Kelly Conklin, NJ Business Owner, Testifies to House Ways & Means Committee on Health Care
Kelly Conklin, owner of Foley-Waite Associates, an architectural woodworking company based in Bloomfield, testified before the House Ways & Means Committee on April 29. In a hearing on employer-sponsored health insurance, Conklin testified about his challenges with health insurance as a small employer and urged Congress to act quickly to pass health reform that works for small businesses – with shared responsibility and the choice of a public health insurance plan. Conklin is a member of the New Jersey Main Street Alliance, a coalition of over 300 NJ business owners working to advance health reform that works for small businesses.
